Pamoja: 2018 Africa Health Forum [15 June 2018]

Pamoja is an HIV prevention and support programme for Africans, by Africans. The programme aims to encourage safer sex, regular testing for HIV and provide support for people who are living with HIV. Pamoja focuses on three key areas in response to the latest developments in HIV prevention, medication and support: Protect Yourself, Test Often and Start Treatment.

The Pamoja team cordially invites people from refugee and migrant backgrounds and agencies who work with refugees and migrants to their 2018 African Health Forum.

What: Information concerning the health of migrant/refugees including Africans living in NZ. 

Why: To bring health equality to vulnerable and minority populations.

Objective: Participants will gain an understanding of common challenges faced by Africans and how they are collectively responding.

When: 15 June 2018

Time: 6:00 - 9:00 pm

Where: Potters Park Event Centre, 164 Balmoral Road, Auckland
